Naft & Gaz Gachsaran from Iran will participate at the 2017 International Handball Federation (IHF) Super Globe.

The Iranian team replaced Al-Noor of Saudi Arabia who withdrew from the competition.

Füchse Berlin from Germany, Egypt’s Al-Ahly, Australian Sydney University, Brazil’s EC Pinheiros and Macedonian RK Vardar have qualified for the competition so far.

A team from host Qatar and a team will be given wild card entry .

The 2017 IHF Super Globe will be the tenth edition of the tournament. It will be held in Doha, Qatar at the Duhail Handball Sports Hall from 25 to 28 August 2017.
